Standards

Editorial standards and corrections

The rules every CasinoQueryLab page follows, how we use AI tools, and where corrections are recorded.

Who we are and what we cover is described on our about page; the rules below apply to everything we publish, alongside our terms of use.

Independence

We do not accept payment, free services or affiliate commission in exchange for coverage, and we do not publish sponsored articles. If that ever changes, paid content will be labelled on the page itself. We do not link to gambling operators for commercial reasons.

Accuracy and sourcing

Regulatory and legal statements link to the regulator, statute or official register wherever one exists. Secondary sources are named and dated. Figures carry their source and date. We do not publish invented statistics, testimonials, case studies, experts or research results. Our full process is described in the methodology.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help with research, outlining and drafting. Every published fact is checked by the editor against the cited source before publication, and pages are edited for accuracy and clarity. Google's guidance on generative AI content asks publishers to fact-check AI-assisted work; we treat that as a minimum.

The images on this site, including the article illustrations and the homepage artwork, are generated with AI tools. They are illustrations only: any figures, dashboards or screens shown in them are not data and do not describe real results.

Gambling coverage rules

Our content is aimed at professionals and adults. We do not provide gambling tips, promote offers or suggest ways around age limits, geo-restrictions, self-exclusion or platform policies. Coverage of a market is not a statement that gambling or gambling advertising is permitted there. Minimum gambling ages differ by jurisdiction: 18 in Great Britain, 18 or 19 in Canadian provinces, and 21 for online casino and for sports betting in most US states. Our market guides give the age for each place. If gambling is affecting you or someone you know, contact a support service in your area, such as the National Gambling Helpline in Great Britain or 1-800-GAMBLER in the United States.

Review schedule

Trackers are re-checked at least monthly and after any announced regulatory change. Explainers are reviewed at least every six months. Each article shows its publication and last review dates.
